The following complaint is between plaintiffs Defenders of Wildlife and the Center for Biological Diversity versus defendants Sally Jewell, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), and Daniel Ashe, Director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS). This complaint challenges the decision of the DOI and the FWS to withdraw a proposal to list the Dunes Sagebrush Lizard as an endangered species under the Endangered Species Act (ESA).
